Solan Mirisim, a Papua New Guinean politician and businessman, died on December 1, 2025, in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, at the age of 47.
He served as Minister of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force from 2017 to 2019 and again from 2020 until his suspension in 2021. From 2022 until his death, he was Minister of the Department of Works and Highways.
Born on October 9, 1978, in Telefomin, West Sepik, he attended Telefomin Primary School and Telefomin High School before studying at Lae Business College, where he earned a certificate in Business Management.
