Sławomir Żukowski, a Polish actor and theatre director, died on June 25, 2026, at the age of 67.
Born in Radom on November 20, 1958, he worked in theatre as an actor, screenwriter and scenographer, and was the founder of BELFEgoR Theatre in Tychy. Żukowski studied at the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Wrocław and later completed an internship at the Wrocław Polish Theatre’s painting studio, where he helped create the set design for Henryk Tomaszewski’s pantomime.
He also worked as an art teacher in Tychy before founding the amateur teachers’ theatre “Belfer” in 1986, a company later renamed BELFEgoR Theatre.
