
Samuel Yin, a Taiwanese conglomerate industry executive, died on May 26, 2026, at the age of 75.
He was a businessman best known as the founder of the Tang Prize and as chairman of Ruentex Financial Group. Yin also served as president of the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University.
Born in Taipei in 1950, he earned degrees from Chinese Culture University, National Taiwan University, and National Chengchi University.
