Rocky Allen, an American talk radio personality and host of the Rocky Allen Showgram, died on June 3, 2026, at the age of 70 or 71.
Over a career that took him through stations in Providence, Detroit, St. Louis, Buffalo and Dayton, he became best known for his long runs on New York’s WPLJ.
There, he hosted an afternoon-drive program from 1993 to 1998 and returned in September 2005 for another stint that lasted until February 2008. His show, airing most recently from 3 to 7 p.m. ET, mixed celebrity interviews, Top 40 music and variety talk, and featured longtime on-air partner Blain Ensley.
