She headed the political communications team for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and also served as a political consultant to Ehud Barak. Born in Jerusalem, she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology from Tel Aviv University and later received a doctorate from Bar-Ilan University, where her dissertation examined political leadership in the Western and Israeli arenas.
Galili-Zucker began her career as a parliamentary assistant to Ora Namir and as a lecture coordinator for the Histadrut’s executive committee before joining the Schocken Group in the early 1980s. She went on to work at Ha’ir and then Haaretz, where she remained as a writer and senior editor until 1999.
