Miklós Dudás (canoeist) Hungarian Olympic sprint canoeist, world champion dead at age 34

Miklós Dudás, a Hungarian sprint canoeist and 2012 Olympic competitor, died on January 5, 2026, at the age of 34.

Born in Budapest on April 16, 1991, he represented Hungary in the men’s K-1 200 metres at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Dudás won a gold medal in the K-1 200 metres at the 2015 European Games, but he was later disqualified from that event after testing positive for a banned substance.

Miklós Dudás (16 April 1991 – 5 January 2026) was a Hungarian sprint canoeist. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men’s K-1 200 metres.
