His career in television began in 1975, when he joined TVB as a trainee scriptwriter and researcher for Enjoy Yourself Tonight. After time at RTV and CTV, he returned to TVB in 1978 and later produced series including Form 4 Class D, which won a Bronze Award at the New York Festivals.
