Kendall Myers, an American convicted spy and former U.S.

State Department employee, died on March 12, 2026. He was arrested with his wife, Gwendolyn Steingraber Myers, on June 4, 2009, and indicted on charges of spying for Cuba for nearly 30 years.

Myers was convicted of espionage in July 2010 and sentenced to life imprisonment by a U.S. federal court. Born Walter Kendall Myers in Washington, D.C., in 1937, he was 88.

Walter Kendall Myers (April 15, 1937 – March 12, 2026) was a U.S. State Department employee who, with his wife, Gwendolyn Steingraber Myers, was arrested and indicted on June 4, 2009, on charges of spying for Cuba for nearly 30 years.
