Born Vijay Kumar Naidu on March 7, 1949, in Natham, Tamil Nadu, he was also known as Sri Bhagavan and was identified as an Indian spiritual master and philosopher. He founded the spiritual organization Oneness, based in Varadaiahpalem in Andhra Pradesh, and in 1984 established Jeevashram, a residential school in Chittoor district that he said was intended to help children discover themselves and realize their full potential.
