Born in Kraków on May 15, 1954, he trained at the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in his hometown and began his professional career in 1978. Frycz went on to become one of Poland’s most prominent actors, earning seven Polish Film Award nominations and winning the Best Supporting Actor prize three times for Pornografia, The Welts and 25 Years of Innocence.
