Gerard Williams, an American professional football cornerback, died in April 2026 at the age of 73.
Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1952, he played in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins, San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Cardinals.
Williams also played for the Birmingham Americans and Birmingham Vulcans in the World Football League. He attended Northeast High School in Oklahoma City and played college football for the Langston Lions at Langston University. In 2014, he was inducted into the Langston University Athletic Hall of Fame.
Gerard Anthony Williams (May 25, 1952 – c.
