Born David John Hensman on August 19, 1962, in Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, he was based in Mission, British Columbia. He began writing and performing his own songs in the late 1970s and continued through the 1980s with Fish Tank, the Last Harvest Band and the Alpha Omega Band, a Christian rock ministry focused on evangelism.
His best-known release came in 2006 with These Are The Days, an album that drew critical attention and was nominated by the Canadian Gospel Music Association and the East Coast Music Association.
