Born in Papua New Guinea, he worked in club football and later took on responsibility for the national side. In October 2015, Morris was appointed manager of Madang, following an earlier spell managing Besta PNG United.
Ahead of the 2019 Pacific Games, he was named manager of Papua New Guinea. In 2020, after spending the previous season with Laiwaden, he was appointed manager of Morobe Wawens, a Papua New Guinea National Soccer League club.
