Bart Batten, an American professional wrestler known as one-half of the Batten Twins, died on October 1, 2026, at age 68.
Batten and his identical twin brother, Brad, began wrestling in 1983 and became a familiar tag team in the Southern United States during the 1980s. Over the course of their career, the Batten Twins worked for promotions including Central States Wrestling, Continental Wrestling Association, International Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, Southern Championship Wrestling, Texas All-Star Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Council.
They were especially prominent in Puerto Rico in the late 1980s, where they won the WWC Tag Team Championship four times and the WWC Caribbean Tag Team Championship twice before continuing on the regional independent circuit into the early 2000s.
