Sometimes credited as Anne Bogan, she was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1941. Bogan recorded one single as an Andante in 1964 before joining the Marvelettes in 1967 after Gladys Horton’s departure.

Her voice can be heard on the group’s releases “Sophisticated Soul,” “In Full Bloom,” and “The Return of The Marvelettes.” After the Marvelettes disbanded in 1970, she went on to sing with New Birth and its subgroup Love, Peace & Happiness before retiring to raise her children.
