Angela Morant, the British actress known for roles in I, Claudius, Brookside and Dixon of Dock Green, died on June 3, 2026.
Born on January 15, 1941, in Warwickshire, England, she became best known for playing Octavia Minor in the 1976 BBC television adaptation of I, Claudius and Barbara Harrison in Brookside. Her television work also included A.D., Callan, Inspector Morse, Bergerac, Ever Decreasing Circles and The Bill, and she appeared in the Lord Peter Wimsey series Have His Carcase.
Morant attended Chipping Campden Grammar School.
