Wilhelmina Lust, the Dutch Olympic athlete who competed at the 1952 Summer Games, died on August 5, 2026, aged 94.

Born Wilhelmina Maria Lust in Zaandam on June 19, 1932, she was known as Willy and Wil and built her reputation in track and field as a long jumper, hurdler and sprinter. She won silver in the long jump at the 1950 European Athletics Championships and went on to compete in the 80 m hurdles, long jump and 4 × 100 m relay at the Helsinki Olympics two years later, placing fifth in the long jump and sixth in the relay.

Lust also excelled in the pentathlon, set national records and won two Dutch titles in 1950 and 1951. In 1954 she moved to Australia with her husband and later retired from competition.
