Vojtěch Adam, Czech politician and surgeon who served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 2008 to 2017, died on April 10, 2026, at the age of 75.
Born on September 12, 1950, in Ivančice, Czechoslovakia, he represented the South Moravian Region for the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia. Before 1989, he was director of Ivančice Hospital, and he continued working there as a surgeon until 2002.
From 2002 to 2014, he served as mayor of Ivančice, and from December 2013 he was a member of the Committee on Health Care and the Committee on Public Administration and Regional Development.
