Vasilios Daniil, a Greek professional football manager, died on March 4, 2026.
Born on August 3, 1938, he managed Kavala, Kastoria, Apollon Kalamarias, Panathinaikos, Olympiacos Volos, Skoda Xanthi, Paniliakos and Greece. As coach of Panathinaikos, he led the team to the UEFA Cup quarter-finals in 1987–88 and won the double in 1991.
