Tatjana Wood, a German-born American comic book colorist and artist, died on February 27, 2026.
Born Tatjana Amalie Weintraub in Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany, on March 2, 1926, she worked in comics and was known for her color work on Camelot 3000. During the 1950s and 1960s, she also made uncredited contributions to Wally Wood’s artwork, including animal drawings for the EC Comics story “Carl Akeley” in Two-Fisted Tales #41.
