Tamal Roy Chowdhury, an Indian actor from West Bengal, died on March 9, 2026, at the age of 80 after cardiac arrest at his residence in South Kolkata while asleep.
He was known for acting in Bengali films including Challenge, Le Halua Le, Bindass, Amazon Obhijaan and Chander Pahar. He had undergone a pacemaker implantation.
