Stefanos Borbokis, a Greek footballer who played for PAOK, Iraklis and the national team, died on April 11, 2026, at the age of 59.
Borbokis began his career at PAOK in 1986 and made 215 Alpha Ethniki appearances, scoring 31 goals. His best season came in 1987/88, when he scored 10 goals as PAOK finished third.
He later played for Edessaikos, helping the club reach the Greek Cup final four in 1994, before returning to Thessaloniki for spells with Iraklis, Aris and Apollon Kalamarias.
