Pip Cheshire, a New Zealand architect, died on February 11, 2026, aged 75.
Philip Maxwell Cheshire was one of the founding directors of Jasmax and later founded Cheshire Architects. He was awarded the New Zealand Institute of Architects Gold Medal in 2013 and served as president of the New Zealand Institute of Architects from 2014 to 2016.
Born in Christchurch in 1950, he studied political science at the University of Canterbury before beginning architecture studies at the University of Auckland in 1976.

Between 2014 and 2016, Cheshire served as president of the New Zealand Institute of Architects.
