Patrick Trémège, a French politician, died on March 16, 2026, at the age of 71.
He was a member of the Union for French Democracy, the Union for a Popular Movement and The Republicans. Trémège served as a councillor of Paris from 1983 to 2020, was a member of the Regional Council of Île-de-France from 1998 to 2004, and represented Paris’s 9th constituency in the National Assembly from 1995 to 1997.
He later ran unsuccessfully for the Senate in 2017.
