Miguel Ángel De Marco, Argentine military officer, academic and historian, died on April 6, 2026, at the age of 86.
Born in Rosario on December 1, 1939, he served in the Argentine Navy, reaching the rank of Comodoro. He was an academic and later served three terms as president of the National Academy of History of the Argentine Republic.
De Marco was also a member of the San Martin National Institute and a correspondent of several historical academies in Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
