Len Pavy, an Australian cricketer, died on January 31, 2026, aged 89.
Born Leonard Pavy in Boulder, Western Australia, he played seven first-class matches for Western Australia in 1954 and 1955. A middle-order batsman, he made his first-class debut for Western Australia in February 1954 at the age of 17.
He was educated at Perth Modern School and the University of Western Australia, and later worked as a school physical education teacher and teacher of PE teachers. In 1983, he was the West Australian director of coaching, and in 1994 he prepared a report for the West Australian government on the recognition of umpires.
Leonard Pavy (21 August 1936 – 31 January 2026) was an Australian cricketer. He played seven first-class matches for Western Australia in 1954 and 1955.
