Lélio Souza, a Brazilian politician, died on February 16, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born Lélio Miguel Antunes de Souza on September 29, 1937, in Rosário do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, he was a member of the Brazilian Democratic Movement Party. Souza served in the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Sul from 1971 to 1983, in the Chamber of Deputies from 1983 to 1991, and in the Constituent Assembly from 1987 to 1988.
He died in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul.
