IJf Blokker, a Dutch actor, musician and television presenter, died on March 10, 2026, at the age of 95.
Born in Den Helder on September 2, 1930, he began his career as a drummer before becoming known on Dutch television in the 1970s for playing Barend Servet in Wim T. Schippers-directed VPRO productions, including De Fred Haché Show.
He later had minor roles in several television programs and presented the VPRO nature program Puur natuur in the 1980s.
