Edoardo Rovida, an Italian Roman Catholic prelate and apostolic nuncio, died on May 26, 2026, at the age of 98.
Born in Alessandria on August 26, 1927, he was ordained a priest on June 29, 1950. Rovida completed his studies at the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy in 1953 and went on to serve in the diplomatic service of the Holy See from 1953 to 2002.
