Cesare Ruperto, an Italian judge, died on February 5, 2026, in Rome at the age of 100.
He served as a member of Italy’s Constitutional Court from 1993 to 2002 and was president of the court from 2001 to 2002. Born in Filadelfia on May 28, 1925, Ruperto was a member of the Constitutional Court for nine years before taking its presidency for part of his final term.
